Because the distance to the nearest town isn't THAT great. And its cheaper to live there.. (no, not the rent, im talking about the money saved in travel).. You will be travelling daily to work/and back.. but not daily for groceries etc..that would be like, once a week or something. I do have driving test coming up next month, but can't rely on somewhat THAT unpredictable! Weather should be generally okay and that is a constant factor whether walking to home from the village or walking to the station in the adjacent towns. The good thing is that the office is a 3-min walk from Kings Langley station. I'm discovering that Kings Langley has very limited housing facilities and most of its is taken up, so I might have to give up that option entirely...but yeah I'm also slightly inclined towards living close to the office.
