"What is the fuss about the recent decision of the Supreme Court?"

"We should all thank the Almighty that the crooked court has made a landmark decision to get rid of the second most corrupt man in Pakistan (after Zardari)."

yea ryt..we should thank Almighty while the most corrupt man is sitting on the president seat...just great

i agree with uni that the problem lies with the ppl sitting in the courts and the man whos controlling them.apply the same rules on ppp n mqm too...hw come they are eligible then??even the current PM can be declared ineligible the same way shahbaz sharif has been...so why r the sharif brothers being isolated n where the hell this governors rule become inevitable...cant u ppl c wat zardari is upto???hes the mastermind behind the whole game...he knows he wont get a second chance so hes upto no good.

@karachiwali
i totally agree

@Uni
Obviously you're forgetting the history. The man was also convicted in 1999 by another judge. This judiciary just upheld the previous ruling! The convicted man tried to hijack a plane!!! Why is that not important here?

The problem I have with this decision is...the court behind it, and the man behind the courts..

That's what's wrong with this ruling.

Getting my point ?

The Sharif brothers claim that they are not power hungry...if they are not then why play havoc on the roads? And if these people are just so concerned about democracy, why dont they make their own party a lil democratic by choosing a new leader for a change.
As for corrupt leaders, i think it was just a matter of who won the race in being more corrupt: the Bhuttos or the Sharif brothers. At least the Bhuttos left some proofs behind and also got jailed/hanged/murdered. The Sharif brothers were always seen as the messiahs even when they attacked the Supreme Court in their tenure or wen they signed a deal with Mush to save their lives and escape to KSA.

@Pinky
I totally agree that they lead to provincialism. And I feel that Shahbaz's government has been wrongfully brought down and the immediate governer-rule proves it.

@Ahmad
Yeah, people like ME! Whereas a man who conspired against a chief of army staff and 150+ passengers in air is an innocent, isn't it?

who was the goon?
and my only issue is that such moves lead to provincialism...these dethroned leaders will tell their followers that a President from Sindh has disregarded the votes of ppl of Punjab etc etc...u know these guys are really good at it..i have seen politicians from other provinces maligning Punjab to meet their political ends...now same game might start over here :(
