Eid, is it?

Allah-o-Akbar … Allah-o-Akbar … Allah-o-Akbar
La ilaha illallah … Allah-o-Akbar
Allah-o-Akbar … Walillahil Hamd

It was a normal working day apart from the early Eid prayers before the beginning of the regular class. Something inside me was constantly reminding me of Eid today, but the whole world around me seemed completely indifferent, except a few handful of friends who exchanged Eid greetings and some phone calls from my parents. Oh parents, how I miss them on my first Eid without them!!

I’d like to use this space to wish all my fellow bloggers, friends and family members a very prosperous Eid and congratulate my best friend, Jasim, on performing Hajj :)
